Property Description
Kimbolton Row is a gated, Mews Style cul-de-sac off Elystan Street in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Kimbolton Row contains 6 properties.
At some point between October 1940 and June 1941, a number of high explosive bombs fell onto Fulham Road, not far from the Row. The cul-de-sac was noted as having mostly comfortable living conditions with ordinary household earnings for the time when the London Poverty Maps were first published, though some houses were poorer in comparison.
The cul-de-sac is not part of a Conservation Area.
No details have been recorded about the properties on account of it being gated and having no public access, but they are Mews in style only, having no equine history.
Everchanging Nature
Before and since 2003 there have been very few planning applications made for alterations to the properties in the cul-de-sac; most notably a basement excavation.
