Design Inspirations

Works were complicated by development works to the adjoining Mews house which included the rebuilding of the adjacent property and construction of a basement during the construction phase.

Project Notes and Timeline

This Mews is unusual as it is located in a Mews Cul De Sac behind the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Works commenced in 2010 and were completed in 2014.

Technological appraisal and Review

The Design uses traditional materials, matching windows and brickwork in the front elevation, but concedes considerably increased internal volume above the original Mews area.
