November 2017 – St. James’s Terrace Mews
November brings colder weather, and the smell of fire and hot dogs – Bonfire Night.
This month’s Mews is attributed to King James, who Guy Fawkes and his accomplices famously tried to assassinate with the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
St James’s Terrace Mews is a through road of 13 (coincidently also the number of people involved in the plot) redeveloped Mews properties off Tichfield Road in the Borough of Westminster. The one and two storey buildings have plain brickwork facades along one side of the tarmacadam through road.
