Situated to the west of London in Hounslow, is Windmill Mews; a cobbled cul-de-sac off Windmill Road. The Mews contains very few properties used for residential purposes. It is located on the site of an original Mews but has been re-developed to a degree that it no longer contains any surviving Mews properties.

The Mews is not part of a Conservation Area. A high explosive bomb fell onto Chiswick Common Road in World War II, north of the Mews.

The two storey properties have plain brickwork facades and roofs hidden behind parapet walls, surrounded by a cobbled road surface with restricted parking and converted garages.

Everchanging Nature

The original purpose of the Mews was to provide stable/ coach house accommodation for the main houses on Windmill Road but nowadays they are used primarily for residential purposes. Redeveloped from former offices most recently in 2013.
